Another Windsor McCay gem for you. This one is from 1921 and is called the Pet. A man eats some rotten cheese and has strange dreams of a pet that grows every time it eats. Soon it becomes so big that it terrorizes a city and yes, eats its buildings. Before King Kong, before the Harryhausen giant monsters, before Godzilla, there was... The Pet.
