It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World

Ladies and gentlemen, it is now irrefutable: I, Luke Muehlhauser, have gone mad. Unsatisfied with my own grasp on the screenwriting craft, I have decided to write my own book on screenwriting in order to teach myself how to write a great screenplay.

This project will take years to complete, and my goal is to write the book as I develop my screenwriting craft, use it to write screenplays, and break into Hollywood.

Actually, this isn't that crazy, as most successful writers of screenwriting how-to books don't have a screen credit to their name (Syd Field, Robert McKee). Besides, it's just what I need: another reason to lock myself away from human civilization and tap away at keys all day.
