These are the most exciting and reliably good screenwriters working today in film. If I see one of these names on an upcoming movie, I'm fairly confident it will be at least a decent movie, regardless of the other talent involved. I track what movies these guys have coming more than any actor or director. They are the best film writers of today (listed in no particular order):
